Judge Rules That Subway "Fake Tuna" Lawsuit Can Continue
It’s the lawsuit that will never end…
In October 2021 a judge dismissed the “fake tuna” lawsuit against quick-service sandwich chain Subway. But now a federal judge is saying that Subway CAN be sued for allegedly deceiving customers about its tuna products.
The case originally stems from January 2021 when plaintiffs Karen Dhanowa and Nilima Amin filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California claiming that Subway’s tuna is “made with anything but tuna.”
Subway quickly responded and shot down the allegations.
