Treasury Targets Dalian Ocean Fishing, Pingtan Marine Enterprise For Human Rights Abuse
The U.S. is cracking down on human rights abuses on fishing vessels based in the People’s Republic of China. On Friday the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctioned Li Zhenyu and Xinrong Zhou, as well as the networks of entities they control, including Dalian Ocean Fishing Co., Ltd. and Pingtan Marine Enterprise, Ltd., and eight other affiliated entities.
