ANALYSIS: Wild Salmon Week in Review: Week 22, May 26 – June 1
The wild salmon season is still in its early stages, with much of the focus on Copper River. Sockeye landings have been robust, similar to last year, and even surpassing it some weeks. During statistical week 21 (May 19-25), 125,000 fish were landed, according to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G).
