SalMar Takes Full Control of Offshore Aquaculture Venture SalMar Aker Ocean
Salmon farming giant SalMar announced that it has agreed to purchase Aker Capital (Aker)’s 15% ownership stake in offshore aquaculture firm SalMar Aker Ocean (SAO) for one million SalMar shares and a cash consideration of NOK 76 million ($7 million).
