Argentina's CGT March: Strong Demand for Wages and Employment
Social tension is once again gaining prominence in the run-up to Workers' Day. This Wednesday, April 30, the General Confederation of Labor (CGT) will lead a massive mobilization in downtown Buenos Aires against the government of Javier Milei, with criticism of the adjustment policies and demands for wage improvements.
The meeting point will be at 2:00 p.m. at the intersection of Avenida 9 de Julio and Independencia, from where they will advance to Paseo Colón 800, a few meters away from the headquarters of the central workers' union...
