Russia Optimistic About 2025 Salmon Catch in Kamchatka Region
Kamchatka will become one of Russia's main salmon regions this year, with a catch of almost 200,000 tons of salmon expected this summer alone.
As reported in the Russian business paper Kommersant, the Russian Federal Agency for Fisheries cited June 1 as the season opening for the peninsula’s main fishing season.
