Seafood Sellers in Mississippi Face New Labeling Rules This July

Mississippi is just weeks away from implementing a new labeling law aimed at improving the transparency of seafood sold in the state.
Starting on July 1, all seafood and crawfish sold in Mississippi—whether in grocery stores, seafood markets, restaurants or food trucks—must be clearly labeled as either imported or domestic, according to the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources (MDMR).
