AGRIMINGOLD S.A. Becomes First Ecuadorian Shrimp Farm to Join ASC Improver Program
Ecuadorian shrimp farm AGRIMINGOLD S.A. became the first in the country to join an Aquaculture Improvement Project (AIP) under the Improver Programme by Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC).
The ASC said the project covers 135 hectares of Litopenaeus vannamei (Pacific white shrimp) farm in El Oro Province, Ecuador. AGRIMINGOLD S.A. produces 753.15 metric tons of shrimp annually.
