NOAA Reports Changes to Northeast's Marine Food Chain from Warmer Waters and Higher Wind Speeds

Following is a summary of a report by NOAA's Northeast Fisheries Science Center that studied changes in water temperatures and wind speeds off the Northeast coast of the US. In addition to region's warmer ocean waters, which includes the Gulf of Maine, GeorgesBank and the Scotia Shelf, the study also found increased wind speeds.
