Salmon, Tilapia Prices Lower as Part of Amazon’s Acquisition of Whole Foods

Amazon’s acquisition of Whole Foods Market closes Monday, and Amazon has announced immediate price reductions will be taken on a range of items. Among the highlighted price cuts are salmon and tilapia.
Whole Foods will also be integrated more closely with Amazon's retail site, with frozen Whole Catch products being offered for sale on Amazon's various grocery ecommerce sites.
When the acquisition closes Whole foods said they will immediately offer lower prices on select grocery staples. The supermarket has not released their full list of discounted items, but a press release confirmed that organic responsibly-farmed salmon and tilapia will be among them...
