Sea Choice Says B.C. ASC Salmon Have High Lice Levels

SeaChoice, a collaboration of three healthy oceans-focused organizations, is calling for the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) to suspend Cermaq Canada’s Dixon Bay, Millar Channel and Ross Pass Farms from using the eco-label. The reason? SeaChoice claims that the B.C. farms received eco-certification from ASC despite an “alarming” high level of lice loads.
