Pacific Seafoods Shrimp Plant Fined for Excessive Discharges

Oregon regulators have fined Pacific Shrimp Company $48,800 for polluting Newport's Yaquina Bay.
The company violated the terms of its wastewater discharge permits at its three Newport seafood processing facilities, the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality said.
The facilities are located at 213, 617 and 755 SW Bay Boulevard.
