Marine Harvest Looks to Automation After Brexit
The chief executive of the world’s largest salmon producer, Marine Harvest, has said it is looking at introducing more automation in its processing operations to counter the impact of rising wages and labour shortages caused by Brexit.
But Alf-Helge Aarskog added that he did not believe the impact of the UK’s departure from the EU next year would be felt at the Norwegian multinational’s fish farms around the Highlands and islands.
