Global Aquaculture Alliance Releases 2019 Annual Report, BAP Certifications up 15 Percent
In late February, the Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA) released its 2019 Annual Report, the report highlights GAA and Best Aquaculture Practices’ (BAP) accomplishments over the past year.
One of the key takeaways from the report was the 15 percent increase in BAP-certified facilities. In BAP’s latest tally 2,681 certified processing plants, farms, hatcheries and feed mills were enrolled in the program. The GAA boasted a total of 3,175 members in 55 different countries.
