Canadian Fisheries Minister Highlights Federal Support Actions for Fishing Industry
In an April 17 statement, Minster Minister of Fisheries, Oceans, and the Canadian Coast Guard Bernadette Jordan noted the support the Canadian government is providing for the country’s fishing industry.
“Canada’s fish and seafood sector has proven itself resilient and flexible in response to the unprecedented challenges that have arisen from the COVID-19 pandemic,” Jordan said in a statement. “It is not business as usual and as a government, we recognize this.”
