Vietnam’s Basa Facing a Declining Market
Vietnam’s seafood industry is suffering greatly this year due to the coronavirus. Basa, one main export, is among the greatest victims. As statistics show, during this first quarter, its seafood exports contracted by nearly 10% from the same period last year to US$1.62 billion, while that of basa decreased by 29% to only US$0.334 billion.
