The Bumble Bee Seafood Company announced a commitment of $40 million toward sustainability efforts. Bumble Bee launched an Accelerator Fund which will focus on challenges the industry faces from a sustainability standpoint.
The company is looking to ensure the abundance of tuna stocks, reduce the impact of fishing on other species and the removal of ocean plastic and waste.
