CDFW Director to Decide This Week About California Crab Opening
California crabbers and processors will know soon whether the Central California Dungeness crab season will open on Nov. 15.
California Department of Fish and Wildlife Director Charlton H. Bonham will conduct an assessment of risk for marine life entanglement on Nov. 4, 2020, according to the Department. This is the first year the Risk Assessment and Mitigation Program -- RAMP -- will formally be used during the crab season.
