Mowi Reaches $1.3 Million Deal to Settle Ducktrap River of Maine 'Misleading' Labeling Claims
Norwegian salmon farmer Mowi and its US-based subsidiary Ducktrap River of Maine has reached a class-action settlement with consumers and a New York general store alleging the company falsely labeled its products.
The class-action lawsuit claimed Ducktrap River of Maine used false and deceptive marketing, including labeling products as “sustainably sourced."
