Cultivated Seafood Producer Wildtype Says Pilot Plant Operating, Space for Taste Tests, Education

Wildtype, a start-up creating sushi-grade cultivated salmon announced that its pilot plant is now operational.
The plant is located in San Francisco and will expand the company’s production capabilities and provide room for cultivated seafood tastings and education.
Near-term production capacity is approximately 50,000 pounds of seafood each year. At maximum capacity, Wildtype says the plant can provide over 200,000 pounds per year.
