Cargill, Freshwater Institute Partner to Improve Land-based Salmon Farming Feed

The Conservation Fund’s Freshwater Institute and Cargill have partnered to “develop, evaluate and enhance” land-based aquaculture feeds.
The Freshwater Institute, a recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS) research and development program, and animal feed giant Cargill described the move as a multi-year agreement fueled by growing demand for salmon around the globe.
