Regal Springs Tilapia Becomes First Producer to Use BAP-Integrated Traceability Systems

Switzerland-based Regal Springs Tilapia became the first producer to use traceability that integrates directly with the Global Seafood Alliance’s (GSA) Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) certification systems.

Regal Springs grows tilapia in floating pends in lakes with farms and processing facilities located in Mexico, Honduras and Indonesia that are BAP certified.

This innovation is enabled by the Wholechain traceability system and has been designed in collaboration with BAP with the goal of enabling real-time data monitoring for BAP’s certification, the GSA explained...
