Kingfish Company Purchases Land for Maine Land-Based Aquaculture Facility
Land-based aquaculture producer The Kingfish Company purchased land where it will build a facility in Jonesport, Maine to be run by subsidiary Kingfish Maine.
The new production facility will mark the company’s first in the United States. Kingfish said it wants to replicate the success it has had in Europe and hope to create “local sustainable seafood production for U.S. retailers and foodservice.”
