Cooke Aquaculture Looking to Build Second Offshore Salmon Farm in Scotland
Cooke Aquaculture Scotland announced it has applied for planning permission for its second fully offshore salmon farm in the country.
The second farm will follow the company’s construction and management of Scotland’s first “high energy” offshore site at East Skelwick. The new farm will be located approximately 3km east of the southern tip of Papa Westray, and more than 4km from the closest landfall on Westray.
