MLMC Executive Director Responds to Proposal to Add Lobster to Monterey Bay Aquarium Red List

Last week the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Seafood Watch Program announced a proposal to add the American lobster fishery, among others, to its “Red List.” The organization said the fishery “pose risks to the survival of the endangered North Atlantic right whale.” The Maine Lobster Marketing Collaborative (MLMC) is now responding.
