National Restaurant Association Supports Essential Workers for Economic Advancement Program
The Essential Workers for Economic Advancement Act was introduced in the House of Representatives on March 28 and the National Restaurant Association believes a program included in the legislation could help the restaurant industry’s labor shortage battle.
The Act would see the creation of the Essential Workers for Economic Advancement (EWEA) program which would allow workers to enter the U.S. via a “market-driven, non-immigrant, three-year visa.”
