Russian Fishermen Oppose State Plans to Sell 25% of Domestic Catch Via Exchange Trading
Leading Russian fishermen have opposed the latest initiative of the national government to transfer up to 25% of Russian fish to exchange trading in a move to stabilize the current situation in the domestic market.
In accordance with the amendments to the federal law "on organized trading" in the event of “significant changes” up to 25% of the produced frozen fish and fillets will have to be sold in exchange trading.
