JAPAN: May Surimi Product Exports Rise 20% to JPY 900 million for the U.S., Hong Kong, and Taiwan
According to the Ministry of Finance's trade statistics, the monthly export volume of surimi products (excluding fish sausage) such as kamaboko made in Japan was 910 tons, up 11% from the same month of the previous year, and the export value was 880.3 million yen ($6.36 million), a 20% increase.
