Oregon Department of Energy Releases Final Offshore Wind Feasibility Study

The Oregon Department of Energy released the long-awaited floating offshore wind report, as mandated by House Bill 3375, on Wednesday.
The Department previously issued a literature review in January 2022, followed by a summary of key findings and, lastly, the final report to the legislature.
The report "provides a summary of important information, key findings, and recommendations for future study and engagement related to the benefits and challenges of integrating up to 3 GW of floating offshore wind into Oregon’s electric grid by 2030," according ...
