National Airlines Introduces a Boeing 747-400 ERF to its Fleet
Seafood is getting a new sweet ride. U.S. based National Airlines announced this week that they’ve added a Boeing 747-400 ERF, Extended Range Freighter, to their fleet. The new addition to the fleet is not only a fuel-efficient freighter, but features a nose door and a large side door for sophisticated cargo movements across long distances.
According to National Airlines the new aircraft, which is suitable for seafood and other perishables, has a maximum gross payload of about 282,000 pounds....
