China Buys More King Crabs This Year

71-ton live king crabs from Russia have arrived at Hengsha port of Shanghai by ship on February 27, according to Shanghai Observer. And compared with last year’s limited volume, the import has quickly rebounded within the first 2 months this year owing to fast recovery of China’s catering industry and its resulting greater demand. The king crab import volume is reported to reach 330 tons from this January to February alone.
