NOAA Names Jennifer Quan New Regional Administrator for the West Coast Region

NOAA Fisheries announced that Jennifer Quan will become the new Regional Administrator for NOAA Fisheries West Coast Region. Quan is set to assume the role on April 23.

Currently, Quan serves as an advisor to Chair Senator Maria Cantwell and other members of the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation. Her NOAA career began as a supervisory fish biologist in the West Coast Region leading the South Puget Sound Branch of the Oregon/Washington Coastal Office.
