USDA Eyeing Purchase of 1.25 Million Pounds of Alaska Pollock
The U.S. Department of Agriculture invited offers to sell various Alaska pollock products for use in the National School Lunch Program and other Federal Food and Nutrition Assistance Programs.
The USDA is looking to buy 1,254,000 pounds of Alaska pollock. The USDA is looking for offers to sell 228,000 pounds of frozen Alaska pollock fillets, with the remaining purchase focusing on various counts of frozen pollock fish sticks.
