Norwegian Food Safety Authority Reports New Detection of Infectious Salmon Anemia
The Norwegian Food Safety Authority reported on Wednesday that infectious salmon anemia (ILA) has been detected in Øygarden, Alver, Austrheim and Fedje municipalities, Vestland.
The ILA was detected at a facility run by Erko Seafood AS, Blom fiskeopdrett AS and Landøy Fiskeopdrett AS. The Norwegian Food Safety Authority was notified by Erko Seafood late last month that there was suspicion of ILA at location 35517 Vadholmen.
