NL Snow Crab Update: 80% Landed As New Season Extensions Announced

New snow crab season extensions for Newfoundland and Labrador were announced by Canada’s Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) on Wednesday.
Harvesters are still out on the water with 80% of the 54,305 MT quota landed as of July 24. According to preliminary data, 10,858 MT still remains.
