U.S. consumers love Red King Crab legs at their dinner table. After the carryover Russian king crab is gone, new harvest king crab for the U.S. market, including Alaska Golden king crab, will be down an estimated -80% this year compared to 2021 and 2022. This is an estimated 20-25mm lb reduction of supply of king crab. What will replace the Red King Crab on the plate?
