Cheaper Cod From Russia Gets More Popular in Chinese Market
In late September, headless and gutted (H&G) cod from Russia were priced at about 1,200 dollars per kilo in the Chinese market, way lower than that of last year, said a report from foodspath.com. But Russian suppliers find such prices acceptable and even satisfactory due to weak ruble and greater exports to the huge market.
