FDA Issues Advisory About Chopped Clams Illegally Harvested in Massachusetts
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a warning on Tuesday about chopped clams that were illegally harvested in Massachusetts.
The product in question was distributed by Red’s Best. According to the FDA, the chopped clams were illegally harvested from prohibited waters on November 25 and November 26, 2023. The clams were distributed to restaurants and retailers in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York and Rhode Island.
