Norwegian Salmon Producers Respond After European Commision Accuses Breach of Antitrust Rules
On Thursday the European Commission confirmed that they sent a statement of objections to six Norwegian salmon producers, expressing concerns of a breach of EU antitrust rules “by colluding to distort competition in the market for spot sales of Norwegian farmed Atlantic salmon in the EU.” The six Norwegian salmon producers highlighted are Cermaq, Grieg Seafood, Bremnes, Lerøy, Mowi and SalMar.
