Fields Family Members Charged Over Kodiak Fishing Permits
Longtime Kodiak setnetter and fisheries advocate Duncan Fields is being charged with multiple criminal counts related to gifting of commercial setnet permits between 2020 and 2024.
Alaska Wildlife Troopers on Tuesday charged Fields, 69, wife Leslie Fields, 67, brother Wallace Fields, 64, and Beth Fields, 66, and the family company Fields & Sons, Inc. with "multiple criminal charges" related to transfer of permits among family members and employees at the family's setnet sites on Harvester Island in Uyak Bay.
