US Aquaculture Groups Praise Bipartisan MARA Act, Citing Boost for Domestic Seafood Production

A pair of US aquaculture advocacy organizations applauded the recently introduced bipartisan Marine Aquaculture Research for America (MARA) Act of 2025.
The bill would advance the development of commercial-scale open ocean aquaculture in US federal waters, which would pave the way for increased domestic seafood production.
