NOAA Fisheries Annual Aquaculture Highlights 2025 Showcases Federal Research and Outreach

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Aquaculture Program is dedicated to advancing US aquaculture through cutting-edge science, communications, and policies. Its recently released annual report describes the scientific breakthroughs and ongoing support for the nation’s shellfish farmers, finfish, and, now, even plants, in the form of a wide variety of kelp species.
