Alaska Airlines Doubles Freighter Fleet With Four New Aircraft Dedicated to Alaska and Hawaii

Alaska Airlines announced Friday it has entered into long-term lease agreements for four 737-800 Boeing Converted Freighter aircraft, expanding its dedicated cargo fleet from five to nine planes and effectively doubling its freighter capacity. The new aircraft will enter service in the first half of 2027 and will be dedicated exclusively to Alaska and Hawaii.
