Frøy Havbruk Terminates Co-Location Agreement With Måsøval Amid SalMar Takeover
Norwegian salmon farmer Frøy Havbruk has terminated its co-location agreement with Måsøval, ending a four-year arrangement shortly after SalMar took majority control of Måsøval.
Under the deal, struck in 2022 when Frøy Havbruk was still known as Frøya Laks, Måsøval operated Frøy Havbruk's licensed biomass volume of 2,433 tonnes MTB at its sites in Production Area 6, with the two companies splitting value creation through a profit-sharing model.
