Coos Bay Oyster Co., Oregon Oyster Farms recall oyster products for Campylobacter contamination

Late last week Coos Bay Oyster Company recalled its entire shellstock of oysters for being potentially contaminated with the Campylobacter organism.
The recall issued on January 31 was an expansion from a January 30 recall from the Charleston-based company. Originally, Coos Bay recalled just its raw, ready-to-eat shucked oyster products for the possible contaminiation; the expanded notification included the company's entire shellstock.
