SEAFOOD.COM NEWS March 18, 2014 -
Customers inside the T-Rex Cafe in Downtown Disney were sent scrambling Monday night after a fish tank inside burst open during dinner.
The T-Rex Cafe is a contracted company owned by Landry Hospitality, part of Landry's Restauarants, which owns many seafood banners.
"A seal failed on the tank causing water to leak. Employees took action and did a great job rescuing all of the marine life, caring for our guests and managing the situation," said Keith Beitler, Senior Vice President Chief Operating Officer of the Specialty Restaurants Division. "The marine life has been moved to holding tanks and the restaurant is open for business as usual."
