Seafish Tasmania Charged with Violating Several Environmental Laws Over Fish Waste Disposal

Tasmanian-based fishing company Seafish will appear in Hobart Magistrates Court today charged with breaching the state's environmental laws.
Seafish Tasmania faces several charges, including two counts of depositing a pollutant where environmental harm may be caused, two counts of unlawfully causing environmental nuisance and three counts of breaching an environmental protection notice.
The company will also face one count of depositing a controlled waste causing environmental harm and one count of disposal of controlled waste except as approved...
