Nova Scotia Tories are urging the government to get its act together on aquaculture more than two years after the Doelle-Lahey report first called for sustainable fish farming in 2014.
In the meantime Newfoundland’s aquaculture sector has surged ahead.
The Tories said at a legislative committee Tuesday that strong government support helped drive Newfoundland’s exponential growth in fish farming, but accused the Nova Scotia government of dithering in crafting clear legislation to support the industry...
