A seafood company and its officers should be fined $1.5 million for misreporting the catch of bluenose they were taking and illegally selling, a Wellington judge has heard.
Wellington District Court judge Bill Hastings is hearing submissions from the Crown and lawyers for Hawke's Bay Seafoods and its directors on how much he should fine them and how that should be apportioned.
