First Wild Copper River Salmon Delivered to Seattle by Alaska Air Cargo
It's that time of the year again! On Friday Alaska Air Cargo delivered the season's first wild Copper River Salmon to Seattle – a whopping 18,000 pounds.
According to Alaska Airlines, the plane touched down at Settle-Tacoma International Airport shortly after 6:30 a.m. on Friday. The airline expected to deliver a total of 50,000 pounds of Copper River salmon to the Lower 48 by noon.
